Well, these grits are now cooling and they do look good. Can you imagine the delicious non-necessity of now frying these puppies? Good lord.

And, here is the tart. I cooked it 20 minutes extra and it never got real golden so I think it’s a wan dessert but one whose flavor will compensate.
