Ramp pesto

April 29, 2012/ Em-i-lis

This pesto is a seasonal riff on the classic. Ramps replace basil, walnuts stand in for pine nuts. Parm, salt, pepper and EVOO round out this simple, delicious, freezable, quick spin in the food processor sauce. We'll love it on pasta but also grilled salmon. Fab!
