Maple-planked salmon with maple glaze

We saw Midnight in Paris today- is Paris not one of the most glorious cities in the world? I'd move there! Anyway, I put the kids to bed and then collapsed on the couch with my trashy US Weekly after we returned home; Tom got a propane refill and made dinner. He expertly executed a tried and true recipe: Maple-planked salmon with maple glaze- ginger, garlic, maple syrup. YUM! This corn turned out to be pretty but have no flavor, but the salmon was superb. I'm considering making a peach cake, but I'm not sure I have the energy.
