Farmers market bounty

After three missed Sundays, I was so happy to return to the farmers market this morning. It was gray and rainy, a damp chill in the air, so I suited up in my magenta raincoat and headed off alone. The boys wanted to come with me until T offered the newest MythBusters as an alternative; they jumped on that and regaled me with stories of just how huge a grease fire can be if you throw a certain amount of water on it. As usual, I was utterly inspired and enthused by all the gorgeous produce available. Squash blossoms, squash, corn, tomatoes, berries, okra, peaches... I also bought some sweet Italian sausages and two wonderful cheeses. After my writing class this afternoon, I intend to start creating.
