Halfway to Philly

We're making great time to Philly and are eagerly anticipating lunch at Bistrot la Minette before checking into our hotel and then meeting up with our pals when they arrive.A major visit to Fante's, a superb kitchen supply store, is tops on the docket, and I cannot wait to buy more buffalo milk butter at the Italian joint next door. For pre-dinner drinks tonight, we're going to introduce our friends to The Franklin Bar, that awesome speakeasy I rave about ever time we go to Philly. And then to Zahav for dinner. I'm hungry and ready to eat all day!

Playhouse mostly done, lobster rolls!

The Bourne Legacy was average- mostly noise and motion. Jeremy Renner is good in the role but the film itself wasn't nearly as good as the previous Bourne trilogy. Ah well. We picked up lobster and shrimp rolls at Luke's on the way home, and those were fab...a wonderful way, culinarily, to end the day. And the playhouse is too cute for words. The boys are just going to love it. Over and out friends, I'm off to the paper and bed.
