Not even joking, I just got a come-on text from some random guy named Shay who works at a Walmart. I haven't the slightest idea who this is. Upon receiving the mysterious first text saying he was still "intrested in me" (people, did he override his autocorrect?), I responded with a Who is this? That's how I found out it was Shay from Walmart. The number of misspellings was record-setting, and in conclusion (to my assuring him I was not who he'd meant to text), he wrote Light Thanks. What? Am I aging at the speed of light, or is this a weird dude? In either case, sayonara!

Tuna and white beans love warm lemon oil

It's as pretty as a Mardi Gras king cake but a lot better for you. Y'all must know by now how much I enjoy a good tuna-white  bean salad. To me, it's healthy comfort food, and I love its ease and consistent goodness. No surprises here. Tonight, rather than simply squeezing lemon over the top -which is delightful- I made a warm lemon oil. This was great both on the salad and the accompanying bread and tomato salad.

I still haven't cut the paper for the Italian flag making. Fudge.
