Summary: Another sage pesto, this one using the traditional pine nut. Delicious! Serve with pasta and/or grilled salmon, or whatever else sounds good!
Yield: about 4 servings
- 3/4 cup packed, fresh sage leaves
- 5 basil leaves
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3-4 small cloves garlic, peeled
- 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
Put everything except the olive oil in a food processor and blend. Then, with the motor running, slowly pour in the olive oil until you have a nice pesto.
