Roasted Asparagus

Summary: Nothing could be easier than roasting asparagus. The great thing is that this simple preparation is the way asparagus shine most!

Yield: serves 2-4


  • 1 bunch of asparagus, washed, tough ends snapped or cut off
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • sea salt
  • lemon


Preheat your oven to 400⁰  Fahrenheit.

On a rimmed baking sheet, lay out your asparagus in a single layer. Drizzle them with olive oil, squirt some fresh lemon all over and then sprinkle with sea salt (don't be too timid). 

Roast in the oven for 6-9 minutes (depending on thickness of asparagus). You want them to retain a crunch but most definitely be cooked!
