Canning 101 (June 26)

We'll be making: a seasonally-inspired jam

Have you always been interested in learning to make and preserve jams, jellies, pickles and chutneys? This hands-on, two-hour waterbath canning class will take you through a seasonally-inspired recipe, start to finish, teach you about canning equipment, safety, and the various forms of preservation, and ready you to can and preserve in your own home kitchen. All handouts, equipment, food, jars and other supplies needed for class will be provided, and there will be plenty of time for questions and sampling. You will also take home a jar of our jam.
