Ok, these grits fries are soooo yummy. T and I just ate 90% of them for dinner, with a side of watermelon and a large glass each of this delicious new Cab he found on Lot18: the Hidden Ridge 55 degree Slope. This is definitely my best frying attempt ever although I do have a new burn to show for the experience. Ow! The texture of the grits makes for a more interesting fry than do potatoes, and the cajun seasoning sprinkle (Tony Chachere’s folks) adds a great kick. A very nice homage to NOLA.
