Mozzarella di bufala with oven-roasted tomatoes and fresh basil! I served it with toasted pain de campagne. Yum. And, the Waldorf slaw with the addition of walnuts. Gotta get your omega-3s.
Both were delish, and we enjoyed an Italian Arneis with it all. Good wine but a slightly errant pairing in that the acidity was a bit too much with the tomatoes. Ah well.
