We did decide to grill, but not BBQ. Thus, Russian fingerlings and brussels sprouts with leftover chimichurri, and alder-planked salmon with a maple-ginger-garlic glaze. Delish!
I love brussels sprouts SO much that they caused me to accidentally overdose my new baby. When Jack was three months old -coincident with October and the advent of fall and root vegetables which immediately makes me want to roast them all- and I was still exclusively nursing him, I caused him major gastric distress because my milk was so chock full ‘o sprouts fiber. The lactation consultant was like, “hello, you cannot eat 1 lb of brussels sprouts in a day while nursing.” Hello, 1st child. I didn’t know that!
