WOW!!! This dinner was soooo good. The first two pictures are the coriander roasted sweet potatoes with lemongrass-lime-creme fraiche sauce (I might lick that off dirt, it was so good) and the last is the caramelized endive with Gruyere. Both were so darn good, we ate everything. Tom said -full disclosure- that the cooked endive smelled like sweaty shoes (hello… warm Gruyere) but even he, who lacks the gene for enjoying bitterness, loved the dish. Because of the fat in the Gruyere and creme fraiche, this actually was a very satisfying meal. Served with the last bit of a Rhone blend from the other night and whole grain bread. Nice!
