Polenta is setting, onions are caramelizing

This afternoon was one of the worst we've had in a looong time. Good lord. J was asleep by 5:45, O in bed now. T and I are bananas but rallying for party 2. I canned more cranberry sauce today, made the olive-artichoke dip for this evening, my polenta is setting, and these onions are caramelizing. Then I'm going to lightly fry the polenta, after cutting them in squares, and top them with the onions, some crumbled goat cheese and some honey. How fab does that sound?!
