Y'all, how pretty is this array?! Tonight we're going to have steaks with some sort of chutney as well as some dish featuring turnips. T swears he does not like turnips because they have a hint of bitterness in them, but I adore turnips of all kinds so continue to try and shift his palate. Heh. Perhaps I will pan-glaze them in a little butter and sugar.

People, Oliver did not nap two days ago and right now is screaming "Mommy" like a 45 stuck on a scratch. Hells bells, please, Oliver, wait until at least your 3rd birthday to jettison the nap. Mommy really needs the minimal quiet time it provides.
