What are your feelings about okra? I love(!) it- fried, stewed with tomatoes, grilled, pickled. It is fantastic, except when it's too gummy and except in gumbo. I know, I know, the word gumbo is derived from an African word for okra. Nonetheless, I don't like okra in my gumbo; alongside it will be perfect, thank you. I might grill these later!
