This is really quite an undertaking but well worth it. The hours spent cooking, rolling, frying, simmering and so forth mean you should not take making less than a whole recipe lightly. I make the big shebang and freeze! Note the latex glove in picture 1. While I'm pretty cool about most aspects of cooking, I really don't like raw meat under my fingernails so I find these gloves quite useful, for meatballs and cherry-pitting, by the way.
