Kale loves Italian sausage, scones love lemon curd + rose petal jelly, news

I can't really explain it, but I was starving tonight. So starving that a pre-dinner glass of wine + the newspaper + the couch was not enough to keep me away from the kitchen. Fatigued but hungry, I made a big, hearty dinner: kale sauteed with a sweet Italian sausage (de-cased; those casings sketch me out big time), garlic, shallots and red pepper tossed with mascarpone and some chestnut pasta my sis brought me from Italy. Delicious! I then proceeded to eat two scones topped with lemon curd and rose-currant jam (aka Love Letter jam). Good lord. Divine. Exciting news- Em-i-lis Recipes hits 200! Get cooking!
