Yummy! After studying several recipes for traditional madeleines, I came up with a spiced chocolate one that is, so far, luscious (the batter is chilling right now, but a few finger dips-n-licks were marvelous). It's got a pronounced yet refined chocolate flavor with hints of both cinnamon and cloves. To go alongside, I made an espresso-cream glaze. Aah...will share my recipe later today.
