This is not a great picture, but this was a delicious soup. Instead of the zucchini I use in the summer, I added some purple cabbage and a potato just to make it more seasonally appropriate. Delish!! I'm noodling on a rice pudding made with the whey from today's ricotta. I was thinking of a non-polenta way to use it and in thinking about how much I like ricotta, honey and figs, I wondered about a similarly flavored rice pudding. Will do a little research and thinking, and keep you posted.
