Aah, mi piacono le vongole!

Seriously! I've always felt a major affection for spaghetti with clams, but each time I down a bowl I am reminded just how magnificent a dish it is. SO simple, just a few marvelous ingredients tossed together in just right way. Mille grazie tutti nonne nel mundo. All you grandmothers who've perfected this meal over the years, I thank you. As fate would have it, we didn't have enough regular spaghetti to serve two. We did, however, have just the right amount of squid ink pasta, and so it goes. Tom did a fabulous job, and I tried to jockey my way to 65% of the total take. Aah!
