What a nice, unique, fresh dinner. I found these gorgeous radicchio the other day: they weren’t your standard round, purple ones but rather more oblong and with a decidedly green tinge under the purple. They were too pretty not to buy. Wonder if they’re treviso…will have to check. Anyway, tonight I grilled those along with skewers of shrimp simply marinated in EVOO, s&p, and lemon zest. I also toasted some fresh breadcrumbs in brown’ish-butter and put those atop the concoction. I was thinking baguette in a different form, and the crumbs offered a nice textural addition.
