Cherry jam making has begun. Last Friday’s one day deal at Whole Foods was Organic Bing Cherries for $2.99/lb. I bought a lot. So tonight, I pitted 4 pounds of them. With three of those pounds, I’m making a basic cherry jam: cherries, sugar, lemon juice. I added some lemon zest as well because what is lemon zest not good in/on?! With the 4th pound, I’m experimenting and making Cherry-Cardamom jam. Tom is suspicious, but I LOVE cherries and cardamom together and don’t feel I can go too wrong with this. Will keep you posted.
